The video not only won many music lovers' hearts, but won Kenzo and Uganda a BET award.
"Alex (Centre in photograph) has gone to be with the Lord. He passed on this evening in an accident. He featured in Sitya Loss and so good videos. Rest in eternal peace young soldier," Musician Eddy Kenzi said on facebook a few minutes before midnight.
Anne Whitehead of WhiteHead Communications, one of the first to break the news, gave a little more detail. "It was not a boda boda as feared. No, bicycle on a hill, breaks failed and fell into a ditch. This is the second kid I've heard of in a week getting in a serious accident while playing with a bicycle and falling into a road-side trench."
The two had just finished Primary 7 exams.
