Source: Voice of Muhabura Echuya forest (Kisoro section) caught fire last Friday, evening after a known civilian went in the bush to harvest Honey. He was reported to Kisoro District Police Head Quarters after the Uganda Wild Life Authority jetted in with much pressure to safe guard the forest. However, the authority tried all means of pitting of fire in order to protect Flora and Fauna.
